Handcrafted America awarded PTC “Seal of Approval”
Coveted distinction awarded by Parents Television Council TM (PTC)
Indian Land, SC – INSP’s original series, Handcrafted America, has been awarded the prestigious “Seal of Approval” from the Parents Television Council TM (PTC). The announcement was made by Dale Ardizzone, Chief Operating Officer of INSP.
“This distinction provides another solid endorsement for INSP’s newest original series,” said Ardizzone. “Handcrafted America debuts tomorrow night (March 1, 2016 at 8pm ET) and already the response from national media, industry organizations and the maker movement has been overwhelmingly positive. Jill Wagner interviews talented artisans from across the country in a series that is both entertaining and interesting. The PTC Seal of Approval is affirmation of our mission and proof that our commitment to family-friendly entertainment still is embraced by millions of Americans who uphold these standards.”
The PTC “Seal of Approval” is presented to outstanding DVDs, films, television shows, advertisers and networks that emphasize positive, pro-family values and do not contain graphic or gratuitous sex, violence or profanity.
Ardizzone continued, “INSP has grown a loyal audience by airing acquired programming. But from the beginning our strategy included the creation of original series and movies that held to these values. We are now producing that content. INSP will debut three original movies and two additional series in 2016. In an environment where inoffensive content is dwindling, INSP has filled a void for American viewers. And ratings prove that we’ve struck a chord; that people WANT this type of programming. Handcrafted America is only one of the series in an entertainment library we are aggressively building. It’s very exciting!”
