“ELKHORN” WINS TOP HONORS WITH BEST SERIES AND MASON BEALS AWARDED BEST ACTOR

The INSP Original Beat Out Competition Including “Landman,” “Yellowstone,” and “Outer Range”

WHO/WHAT: The hit INSP series, ELKHORN, has been awarded Best TV Series in the 8th Annual Cowboys & Indians Magazine Movie & TV Awards. Mason Beals, star of ELKHORN, was also named Best Actor in a TV Series.

COMPETITORS: ELKHORN faced tough competition, going up against powerhouse productions Yellowstone, Outer Range, Landman, and Territory. For Best Actor in a TV Series, Mason Beals competed against acclaimed actors Billy Bob Thornton (Landman), Cole Hauser (Yellowstone), Josh Brolin (Outer Range), and Robert Taylor (Territory).

ABOUT THE SERIES: Inspired by true events, ELKHORN chronicles the journey of a young Theodore Roosevelt (portrayed by Mason Beals), as he abandons his promising political career in New York and heads for the harsh, untamed Dakota Badlands to establish the Elkhorn Ranch.

WHAT’S NEXT FOR ELKHORN: Production for Season 2 of ELKHORN is currently underway. The series is produced for INSP by MorningStar Entertainment, with Executive Producers Gary Tarpinian and Paninee Theeranuntawat, along with Craig Miller from INSP.
